The episode features the inspiring story of Mariom Begum, a 35-year-old resident of Charfesson upazila in’; Bhola, who has achieved success through innovative agricultural practices. Faced with waterlogging issues that hindered traditional farming, Mariom turned to sack gardening to cultivate gourds in sunken land. With the guidance of the local agriculture office, she planted 25 sacks of gourd seedlings and successfully grew gourd greens, data, and gourds, which she sold for a profit. This initiative not only improved her family’s financial situation but also served as a model for others in waterlogged areas. The magazine also highlights the collaborative efforts of the farming community in the region, including Farmer Jamal Uddin and the farmer association leader.
